Dark kitchen cabinets and other furniture for modern household

This dwelling content a kitchen, a living room, a study, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In this dwelling, designer uses a lot of dark wooden materials and dark gray tiles, making the interior design calm and unhurried.

The dark kitchen cabinet is U-shaped, and the space is fully used. Cabinets are standing from floor to the ceiling and go from wall to wall. Cooking area is beside the fridge and tall cabinet, washing area is toward to the window. The rest 3-meter-wide cabinets are for pantry and storage. All the cabinets are using finger pull profile handles to make the looking neat and simple. The countertop turns a corner in the end and become a dining table for six.

Same idea of the dark kitchen cabinet, the bathroom vanity is covered by the dark wooden doors. White ceramic basins and taps are fixed on top. Some clients ask us whether top-mounted basin is better, or under-mounted basin is better. This is according to the vanity design. If the vanity is low, top-mounted basin is better, since you don’t need to bend to wash hands. If the vanity is tall, under-mounted basin is better for the same reason.

While in bedroom, designer don’t want to repeat the tone of the dark kitchen cabinets and vanities. A white wardrobe makes the bedroom brighter and release the dullness.
