Josh is an interior designer, running a design studio in Brisbane, Australia. He is a nice and moderate gentleman and visit us several times.
This case is one of his case done in 2017. It’s a medium house and Josh ordered the built-in 2 pac kitchen cabinet, bedroom robes and the laundry cabinet from us.
2 pac, also called 2 pack is equal to lacquer paint finish in other country. This is the most widely used finish in Australian kitchen design. Usually it is default to be white color, glossy or matt surface. Maybe due to the local culture, or the plenty of sunshine and nice landscape, Australian love to use white color into their home interior.
Thus we pay great attentions on the quality of lacquer paint panels.
In this custom 2 pac kitchen cabinet, there are built-in cabinets which contain pantry, integrated fridge, free-standing stove and integrated range hood, and island cabinet which contain sink, dish washer and sitting place. In front of this kitchen, there is dinning table; beside it, there is living room.
In the bedroom, the robes are also built-in type. The design of robes is not fancy, there is enough space for clothes hanging and enough drawers for small items. Door panels of robes are nearly from floor to top, only a small gap above floor.
