Handleless concept in kitchen cabinet design is a new concept. By getting rid of the handles or knobs, the lines of the cabinets and door are simpler and neater. 

Shaker door, another modern concept, much simpler than the traditional wooden carved doors, it's more complicated than the flat door panels.

This kitchen is open to the dining table and sitting room. As a whole unit, black, white and grey are the main tone of the interior design and furniture, including this light grey kitchen.

To matching with the floor and wall tiles, the base cabinets and countertop keep a darker grey color, distinguishable from surrounding. The overhead cabinets are covered by white shaker doors with black knobs, matching with the decorative tiles as backsplash. In this combination, the main tone of interior design is expressed again.

When we consider whether the kitchen design fitted, we'd better consider the overall interior design in the house. That's why interior designer is important for a perfect home. In this case, it's not hard to keep the overhead cabinet doors same as the ones below. But a pure light grey kitchen surely doesn't match the surrounding color. In this case, the white shaker with black knobs is a solution to it.
